I still clearly remember the very first books I read during my childhood—though I won’t say exactly when, because you might figure out my age! 😄 It all began with the Sweet Valley Twins series, then Sweet Valley High, and eventually Sweet Valley University. Following the lives of Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield felt like stepping into another world.
But the book that really made a mark was the first one my dad bought me: Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. That book taught me how much I loved reading and opened up a whole new world for me. Thinking back on those moments now feels so nostalgic—like a little treasure chest of memories I carry with me.
